Hot Water Or Vapor

We mention already that there are many methods of carpet cleaning such as using chemicals, using water, and many others. We mention that most easy to use and the most effective one is the vacuum cleaner. However hot water is also used to clean the carpet as they remove all the germs and other similar items from the carpet and make it clean and neat to use.

There are steam cleaners but here we are focusing on how hot water or steam is used to remove the dirt and make the carpet clean. This is one of the methods that usually households used to use for cleaning their small and large rugs and carpets. This method id done once a month some people also do it once a week who have more energy and power to do it. The hot water is basically drawn on the carpet and by using any detergent the carpet gets clean.

This is a very large and old process. Here is the method. It requires a large and open place where can be extended and can be washed properly. You can also wash it at the place where it is lying but than you have to keep the switch on for two days. When you have to clean the carpet you use any good detergent and sprinkle it on the carpet in large amount. Then with the help of a brush you rub the carpet and then draw hot water in small amounts. In this way foam is form and by kept on rubbing the brush your carpet gets clean. Hot water is used initially in a very small amount but with the time more water is drawn on the carpet. This method is performed till you realize and feel that your carpet is cleaned. For the small carpets or rugs you can put them in tub with hot water and smudge till they become clean. The carpet is then laid under the open air or in a room where there is AC or fan.

One can clean the carpet by vapor or by steam using dry cleaners. What ever method you follow result is same. The hot water or vapor effectively removes the germs and dirt particles from the carpet and also gives smell to the carpet.

These are the oldest method to clean the carpet however they are less costly as you just have to use the hot water and detergent and no other thing. We know that very large sum of money is involved in buying vacuum cleaner and then when parts fail you also have to repurchase them. Therefore vacuum cleaner is a very costly method and not everyone can afford it. Thus hot water is not a bad option and most of the people do it.

It is not like that people do not use this method now. Most of the people follow this method to clean their carpets and other items. When ever you give your carpet or rug to the dry cleaner they always use steam or hot water to clean the item you send. There is just one disadvantage that it is time consuming as you have to wait such a long time to get your lovely carpet clean.

This method can also be followed at home at any time you want. By following this, your electricity bill would also be in control and thus it is very cost effective and all your problems would be solved just by adopting this method.
